SEETHER has been on a whirl wind since their latest release “Poison The Parish” and are just coming off a 4 week #1 single on Active Rock radio and will be performing at Chicago Open Air on July 15 in Bridgeview, Ill. then off to destroy Indianapolis when they stop at Old National Center.
Guitarist Clint Lowery will augment the band’s line-up throughout the upcoming trek, adding his signature axe-work to Seether’s new songs and deep repertoire.
“We’ve been working on some upgrades to the production and the live sound, which includes welcoming our brother, Clint Lowery into the fold to help us thicken up that live sound experience,” Seether vocalist/guitarist Shaun Morgan said. “We want this tour to be exciting and different — a departure from what people expect from us, while retaining the qualities that make us unique, in order to entertain the fans. It’s going to be loud, heavy, old school Seether with a couple of twists thrown in to keep things exciting.”
In addition to their upcoming performances, Seether will be headlining their 5th Annual Rise Above Festival to raise awareness for suicide. The largest suicide awareness event in the world, which will be held Saturday, July 22nd and Sunday, July 23rd at Darling’s Waterfront Park in Bangor, Maine will feature performers including Korn, Shinedown, Stone Sour, Skillet, Halestorm, Falling in Reverse, and more.
“I started this festival as a tribute to anyone who has lost someone. If this festival does something to help one person reconsider the tragic choice of suicide, then it will be the greatest success of my career,” said Seether’s Shaun Morgan.
