BAND TO BRING THEIR BALLS TO THE WALL ROCK N’ ROLL TO THE USA MAY AND JUNE
I think it’s safe to say you will not be disappointed with any of Giuda’s releases. Blending the nostalgic sensibility of 1970’s Glam with a certain attitude and a no bullshit stance of the punk side of rock ‘n’ roll. Their sound is reminiscent but unique and infectious. Each of their albums has its own charms and is filled with raw glam stompers that will not disappoint.
The latest addition to their already solid catalogue is sure to gain new fans and make the old ones celebrate. Listeners will find the first track “Roll The Balls” sets the tone for a solid rock n’ roll record throughout. While, Speaks Evil expands on what the band has been done before, listeners can be sure to find a healthy balance between heavy hitters, like “Mama got the Blues,” “Working Class Man” and the deviously poppy “Bad Days are Back.”
Recorded with analog equipment and strictly-70’s era instruments and produced by Danilo Silvestri, along with guitarist Lorenzo Moretti, Speaks Evil continues on the musical path outlined by the band’s previous releases Racey Roller and Let’s Do It Again, while improving the songwriting process with more complex structures and catchier melodies, without losing any of the spontaneity and energy.
Speaks Evil is the furthering of a superb essence that defines the standard for the contemporary Junk Shop Glam style that many of today’s groups adhere to, but only wish they master half as well as Giuda.
Clearly they are heavily influenced by classic 70’s rock ‘n’ roll, but the band exudes a high level of legitimacy and authenticity for a fresh sound. Don’t miss the band on tour in the USA this month.
